International Firearms Consultants, LLC and its training partners have the capability of providing effective and comprehensive training in the use and implementation of Handguns, Rifles, Carbines and Shotguns in all applications to Qualified Individuals. We cater to individuals and small groups by request. Listed below are a sampling of the most popular courses that we offer to Corporate Groups, Armed Professionals and Responsible Citizens. Pricing is quoted by the hour or packaged specifically to the needs of the Customer. We can supply all safety equipment, shooting equipment and ammunition if requested when scheduling a class. 

  

Fundamentals of Safe Handgun Handling 

This course is for the individual who wants to learn the safe skills of handling handguns without the pressure and stress of having to fire live ammunition. The student will learn the safe handling and nomenclature of the semi-automatic pistol and revolver, as well as general maintenance, field stripping, function checks, ammunition selection, storage choices for firearms and ammunition, and what the next steps should be in your firearm education and training..

All equipment and course material is provided for the student.

This is a non-firing class that provides each student with the hands on experience of revolvers and the semi-automatic pistols without the noise and recoil associated with firing live ammunition. 

Course is 4 hours. 

Fundamentals of Safe Handgun Handling for Women Only 

This course is designed with women in mind. Your instructor is a woman and can understand the mind set and other considerations that relate to women wanting to learn about firearms. This course is a non-firing, hands on type of class. You will learn how to handle a variety of handguns safely. In addition you will learn loading and unloading with dummy ammunition, field stripping and cleaning, how to perform a function check, ammunition selection, storage choices for your handgun and ammunition as well as what your next steps should be in your firearms education and training.

All equipment is provided, you just need an open mind and the willingness to try something that has been male dominated for years. See what the fun is all about.

 Course is 4 hours. 

                                                                                          

Basic Handgun Skills 

This course focuses on handgun safety and the foundational skills necessary to be safe and successful with a handgun. This firing course is objective based which uses common sense, analogical teaching methods and the students natural attributes to coax immediate and exceptional Marksmanship Performance from each student.

All firearms, safety equipment and ammunition are provided.

Course is 8 hours. 

 

Intermediate Skills for Semiautomatic Handguns  

This course reinforces safety and adds the necessary handling skills for the individual intending to carry a holstered semiautomatic handgun.  The student will learn the proper method to safely draw and recover to the holster, load and unload administratively, perform an emergency reload, perform immediate action, shoot with accuracy, shoot multiple shots, and multiple targets.

It is recommended that the student have taken and passed an entry level handgun course within the last 6 to12 months prior to attending this course.

The student will fire approximately 250 rounds of ammunition for the day.

The student must provide the necessary equipment and ammunition for this class unless prior arrangements are made with the class coordinator.

Course is 8 hours. 

Advanced Handling Techniques for Semiautomatic Pistols 

This is a very fast moving class that takes the student to the next level of shooting, with and without sights, shooting while moving, shooting from improvised positions, cover and concealment, shooting  strong hand only and support hand only. Each student will learn to trouble shoot and solve their own shooting deficiencies using the training methods introduced in this class. Regardless of the of shooter, we guarantee  better shooting  performance, knowledge, and confidence at the completion of this course.

For this class the student MUST be totally knowledgeable and capable of  firearms safety, range safety, as well as the operation and basic handling skills of their firearm and associated equipment.

The student must provide the necessary equipment (gun, holster, minimum of 3 magazines, safety gear) along with approximately 350 rounds of ammunition to complete this course.

Course is 8 hours.  

Precision Marksmanship with Defensive Handguns

The objective of shooting is intentionally hitting the intended target on demand. This course of instruction will provide the tools necessary for the student to shoot their Defensive Handgun with Precision and Accuracy. Principles of precision trigger manipulation, alternate sight pictures, reducing arc of movement, coordinating the mental, visual and physical principles of shot delivery as well as techniques of validating follow through and calling shot placement prior to viewing the target are among the subjects covered in this class.

To attend this class the student the student MUST be fully familiar with the safe handling and operation of their firearm and associated equipment.

The student must provide the necessary equipment (gun, holster, safety gear) and 250 rounds of ammunition to complete the course.

Course is 8 hours. 

Trouble Shooting the Troubled Shooter

In this class each student will learn to detect and correct deficiencies in their shooting ability through diagnostic methods designed to help solve their own problems as well as to help others when performance is less than expected. Each student is expected to bring at least one problem area in their shooting that they would like to improve. Every class is as different as the students that take it. Participants will learn how to permanently eliminate shooting errors and improve their overall shooting performance by the conclusion of the course.

To attend this class the student the student MUST be fully familiar with the safe handling and operation of their firearm and associated equipment.

The student must provide the necessary equipment (gun, holster, safety gear) and 250 rounds of ammunition to complete the course.

Course is 8 hours. 

Basic Revolver 

This is a course focused on the safe and efficient handling and operation of a revolver. The student will learn and perform the safe techniques of drawing and holstering, loading and unloading, immediate action, shooting double action and single action as applicable and marksmanship fundamentals as well as ammunition selection and essential maintenance procedures.

To attend this class the student the student MUST be fully familiar with the safe handling and operation of their firearm and associated equipment.

The student must provide the necessary equipment (revolver, holster, safety gear) and 250 rounds of ammunition to complete the course.

Course is 8 hours.

Mastering the Modern Sporting Rifle

This is a class for the AR Style Rifle Owner that wants to further their knowledge and ability in the uses and capabilities of of America’s favorite all purpose long gun. The student will learn multiple techniques of loading, unloading, immediate action, the uses of a sling for transport and support, optical and iron sight zero, precision shooting, multiple shots on multiple targets and improvised positions. A segment of this class will be dedicated to ammunition selection for intended application. This is the next step beyond familiarizing and learning the basics of the AR platform.

The student must provide the necessary equipment (safety gear, rifle with sights, sling, extra magazines and cleaning kit) and 250 rounds of ammunition to complete the course.

Course is 8 hours. 

Precision Hunting Rifle

This is the next step after getting a 100 yard zero from the bench before going to the field to harvest a game animal. The student will learn how to quickly get into an improvised position and what the effective ethical range will be for them individually as it varies from position to position. Alternate methods of support such as hasty slings, bi-pods and shooting sticks will be utilized to replicate field conditions. Bullet selection and ballistics will be studied with each caliber present to help the student make the best choices for the application. Target engagement distances will be limited only by range capacity and the ability of the shooter and their equipment. 

The student must provide the necessary equipment (safety gear, rifle with scope, sling, bi-pod, shooting sticks and cleaning kit) and 150 rounds of ammunition to complete the course.

Course is 8 hours. 

 

Females and Firearms (Women Only) 

This is a foundational level class that will emphasize safety, how to fit a handgun to the student’s hand, and the basics of firearms handling and marksmanship skills. This is a hands on class where class members will learn; the parts of the firearm, how they work, how to prepare and fire a firearm as well as how to clear, maintain and clean a firearm. The student will fire a fitted handgun for familiarity and continue with initial firearm skill development. This class is taught by women for women!

All safety equipment, firearms and ammunition are included.

Course is 8 hours.  

Individual Shooting Lessons by the hour are available for the discriminating client wanting to improve their performance a skill at a time.  Rates on request.

Private and Custom classes are available for Individuals and Groups on request.

All of our classes can be taught for Women only with only Women Instructors.
